SERVING AS:  Pastor of Christian Formation

DUTIES:  Lead in aspects of spiritual formation among those in our body, including GROW Groups and mentoring ministries.  Lead the global outreach ministry, compassion/mercy/justice ministries, as well as oversee aspects of church administration.

PASSIONS:   Counseling, leadership development, helping challenge people to growth steps in their journey with Christ!

PHILOSOPHY OF MINISTRY & LIFE:  "As a humble servant of the living Christ, I will seek to honor Him with my life first in my roles as husband and father and second by committing it to growing His body into deeper, more passionate, and more intimate relationships with Himself. I will endeavor to help the Body realize the incredible plans He has for each of their lives, including those who are called to be leaders in it. By faith I will seek to create and oversee ministries that help accomplish the Great Commission around the world and among all classes of society, including to the disenfranchised."

EDUCATION/ORDINATION:

  • B.S. in Journalism, Georgia Southern University
  • Master of Divinity, Fuller Theological Seminary
  • Ordained in 2000, credentialed with the Evangelical Covenant Church in 2005
