(This story comes from a closed country in the Middle East)

"Ahmed came to the cinema when the Magdelena film [Jesus Film for women] was showing. After the film he had some questions which one of us answered. After a few days he came to our office wanting more books. He took some and asked more questions. After much conversation he prayed to receive Christ. The next day he sent a note saying, ‘You are right about what you said. Christ is the truth and He is the Savior. Thanks for telling me that because you saved me from killing myself.' The following day he came and explained that he was preparing to kill himself because he could no longer live a life without any hope. But after he came to know Jesus, his life was changed. God gave him true joy and hope for his life. By the way, Ahmed is a famous journalist in [our] country."

"Explain again what you'll do in France"
After September 11th, 2001 I joined much of America as we watched the rescue and recovery of the attack of The World Trade Center. Six months after the attack, 1.5 million tons of debris was removed from the site. The cleanup was completed in May 2002 and ceremonies took place to mark the completion of the debris removal. Without help from the fire fighters, blood donors, aid organizations, medical workers, and many others; this rescue and recovery would not have been successful. We will be working at the headquarters for the 30 countries that make up the area of North Africa, Middle East, and Central Asia. Like the teamwork of 9/11, to reach the people in these countries, our office needs strategies, vision, planning, finances, communication, and good people. We also need technology. Delays in these areas can lead to lack of funds when needed, crises that could have been avoided, and frustration for those relying on us in these countries. Currently there is only one Information Technology worker in our headquarters and we can't wait to make that two!!! The more we can keep the computers and servers functioning efficiently, the more our staff can focus on reaching people with the Gospel. It's exciting just thinking about it!

Praise the Lord that Amy is done with radiation and everything went smoothly!
