Thank you to the volunteers that assisted at Saturday’s distribution.  Angel Food Ministries would not be possible without you.

Take a look at the new menu  - Angel Food is introducing the Bountiful Blessing Box.  It is similar to the Signature Box but more items, 24 vs. 18 this month.  It contains 6 lbs. of vegetables, 10 meat and dinner entrée items including a fully cooked pot roast, 3 lbs. of split chicken breast, plus hamburger patties, ground beef, pork chops and other dinner entrée items, dessert, eggs, and milk. 

The September Steak Combo Box includes 12 oz T-Bones and 8 oz New York Strip Steaks, 5 lbs. for $25.  What a GREAT BUY!!!

Thanks to everyone that ordered in August.  Distribution will be this Saturday the 28th starting at 9:45.

We have said earlier that the overall mission of Angel Food is to help feed America and to help restore faith and sense of community to people.  Additionally, to provide people a way to save money and give back.

There are many Angel Food Angel(s) at Hope Covenant Church.  We have seen this again this month in a pronounced manner.  Angel Food Secret Angel(s) at Hope Covenant Church have taken the flyers and distributed them to people at a local apartment complex and posted menu information in another community building allowing people to order Angel Food for the first time.  We would like to thank all the Secret Angel(s) for their time and willingness to share.

The spirit at Hope Covenant Church is rewarding to see in action.

School is starting and summer activities are winding down.  Take this opportunity to bring your family together again for the evening meal.  This is a time to work as one unit in the preparation, sharing and clean up of the meal that historically binds families together.  Remember the overall mission of Angel Food is to help feed America and to help restore faith and sense of community to people.  There is no better place to start than in your own home with your own family.

Angel Food makes it easy for you to create nutritious, well balanced meals for your loved ones and realize a savings on your monthly grocery bill.  The Signature Box provides a variety of the basic essentials of meats and vegetables to stock your freezer.  Now that the August menu is available please take a look at the selections either online or in the lobby, buy a box and help Angel Food continue to help others.  Buy One and Give One or make a donation to a family in need.  Talk with people you know, give them an Angel Food menu or the web address, hopeispossible.org/angelfood

Special help is needed to deliver the Angel Food packages to several homebound participants in the viciinity of Alma School and Chandler Road on the morning of the Angel Food Distribution day. If you would like to volunteer once a month, please call Debbie at 480.361.7289.

The overall mission of Angel Food is to help feed America and to help restore faith and sense of community to people.  When you buy a box of food you not only get great food for a good price but your actions help Angel Food give relief to other communities with special needs.

The support you lend goes a long way.  In the past year the Angel Food organization has contributed free food to the Navajo nation in New Mexico, flood victims in Missouri, Haiti victims and most recently relief to people in the Gulf out of work as a result of the oil spill.

Deb and Mark are doing one outstanding job with this ministry! Thanks for what you both are doing!!

I'm amazed at the quality of the items offered by Angel Food Ministries - and volunteering is a great opportunity to meet and help others. I encourage everyone to donate and/or volunteer - you won't regret it!!
