“Gabriella’s Heart Song”
Greetings and Happy New Year! I wanted to pass along a wonderful event that I am encouraging everyone to attend to begin their new year helping a wonderful little girl in need, Gabriella Vega.
Gabriella is a beautiful 4 year-old girl who was diagnosed with a severe and irreparable case of Myocardial Bridging which causes Secondary Restrictive Cardiomyopathy. Before she was able to get a much needed heart transplant, she suffered a stroke which impaired her speech and right arm abilities. She is currently waiting to be put back on the heart transplant list. Gabriella and her family attend
A few folks at Hope Covenant decided that they wanted to help raise funds for Gabriella so a wonderful event was planned. You are cordially invited to come and make a joyful noise or at least hear some joyful noises being made at the “Gabriella’s Heart Song” fundraiser on January 15, 2010, 6-9pm at The Stadium Club in
The best part about this evening is that there will be a gong system in place for our singers. If the audience does not appreciate the fine vocal skills or the song choice, a donation must be made to “gong” the person off the floor! If the singer can match the donation and add an extra $1, they can finish the song. The goal is to sing poorly and choose awful songs to raise more money for Gabriella! There will be a $5 cover at the door and we hope to raise a bunch of money to help support Gabriella’s medical expenses.
I ask you to Invest and Invite your friends and family, and then tell them to invite their friends and family! It will be the best “first event of the year” that you could ever support.
