It's Gone!!!

For those who haven’t heard, we’re praising the Lord, for Amy’s cancer is gone! We had a scan done a few weeks ago and we were praying fervently that she would be healed. At the appointment the doctor busted into the room and exclaimed “Amy, the cancer is gone!” He also commented that He knew the treatment was going to work, but he didn’t think it would work that fast. I know the Lord decided to heal Amy!

Thank you for all of your cards, prayers, letters, and love! Our home has been filled with the love of Christ through such a time of darkness. It has taken a burden off of our family to know that the chemo worked and from now on the treatment is to keep the cancer from returning. I thank God that my last treatment will be Sept. 28th and thus far I have only suffered from feeling tired and not well for a few days after chemo. After that I’ve been able to enjoy life as usual.

New Life!
We’re “Uncle Al” and “Aunt Am” now! Solomon Junk was born to Benjamin and Yong-suk on Sept. 12th (Alex’s birthday). The new papa delivered his son after a short labor in their apartment in Nottingham, England. It was exciting!

Travel Schedule
Mid Oct. - End of Nov. ~ Missouri with Amy’s parents for radiation treatment followed by a joyful family Thanksgiving!
Mid Dec. - Jan. ~ Iowa for Christmas with the whole Junk family!
