New & improved website

There are more than a billion people accessing the internet everyday. Recent studies have shown that people are using the internet more and more to help them make decisions. In the US alone, more than 70% of adults are online. That translates to 211,000,000 people. Whether it's what car to buy, which presidential candidate to vote for, or what college to attend, people are relying on their computers to access this information. The same is true about people looking for answers about their lives, relief from struggles and acceptance at a church.

If you've been attending Hope for a while, or only a few months, you've probably heard of someone coming through the doors of Hope because of the sign out front. Or perhaps you came because you saw it. "No Perfect People Allowed" is our motto and what attracts so many people to Hope. That brings us to Hope's online presence. Our website is our sign for the thousands of people looking for churches here in the East Valley as well as to the millions of people researching life in the Phoenix area. Don't get me wrong, I love our sign out front, but this website is our identity to a much larger crowd than those driving down Dobson road.

This entire newsletter is dedicated to showing you how to use the new website and what it has to offer. Let me touch on a few of these new features.

There is a centralized calendar displaying all the activities at Hope with the dates, times, cost, and additional notes. Now you can jump online if you're wondering about an event. For everyone that is into podcasting and syndication, you are now able to subscribe to all the Sunday sermons, recent articles, The Window Pane, and more. And speaking of The Window Pane, the leadership at Hope has decided to only publish it online. So starting next month, you will be able to receive The Window Pane via email. The new site also allows for many people to add, edit and/or remove content. There is also a member's area where you can update your contact information, post your own blog, and connect with other Hope members. These are just a few of the highlights of Hope's new website. Check inside for more information.

Enjoy Hope's new sign to the world and we'll "see" you online soon.
