“Blessed To Be Part of a Family”

I. A MOTHER’S HEART IS SEEN IN THE COMFORT AND CARE FOR HER CHILDREN.

“For this is what the Lord says:  ‘I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of nations like a flooding stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm and dandled on her knees.  As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.’”

                                                                             (Isaiah 66:12-13)

“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has born?  Though she may forget, I will not forget you!”                  (Isaiah 49:15)

II.   A  MOTHER’S HEART IS SEEN IN HER LOVE FOR HER CHILDREN.

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”   (3 John 4)

III. A  MOTHER’S HEART IS SEEN IN HER PRAYERS FOR HER CHILDREN.

“I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois, and in your mother Eunice, and, I am persuaded now, lives in you also.”           (II Timothy 1:5)
