"The way of peace they have not known." (Rom. 3:17)

 

"People are crying ‘Peace & Safety' yet destruction will come upon them.

(I Thes 5:3)

 

"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! May they prosper who love you! Peace be within your walls, and security within your towers! For my brethen and companions' sake, I will say, Peace be within you."

(Psalm 122:6-8)

 

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27)

I. Peace is from God.

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (7) Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this." (Is. 9:6-7)

II. Peace is from us.

"May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels."

(Psalm 122:7)

III. Peace is within you.

"Submit to God and be at peace with him..."

(Job 22:21)
