What is CONNECT, GROW and SERVE?

At Hope we're constantly asking people to consider what it would take for them to take one step closer to Christ. "Connect, grow and serve" is an outgrowth of that; it is the three simple steps we focus on in order to grow holisticly in our relationships with God and each other!

What does SERVE look like?

Sacrificial gifts and acts of service don't just help others grow; they give us an opportunity to discover God’s ultimate plan for our lives.

God designed each of us so that there would be no duplication in this world. We want to help you discover your unique gifts and talents and encourage you to use them to serve God and others.

Ways for people to SERVE at Hope

  • Learning about your spiritual gifts. Part of our ALL IN class on Sunday mornings will help you roll your passions, abilities, personality and experiences into a personal ministry, to help you with this discovery.  We would love for you to find a place to serve that greatest fits your giftedness and abilities.
  • Giving to the church and supporting ministries that spread Jesus' message of love.  We never ask our guests to feel obligated to participate in our offering — but for those who consider Hope their home, these sacrificial tithes and offerings given to the church are of course needed for the church to survive and continue to bless and minister to those in the community.
  • Joining one of the church's ministries to encourage and strengthen others in our church family and/or community.


Our challenge to you

We want everyone who considers Hope their church home to challenge themselves by making a commitment to three simple things:

  • CONNECT:  by making “invest and invite” a priority and building intentional relationships with those in your circle of contacts who are outside of the church.
  • GROW:  by being a part of a GROW Group as part of your commitment to long-term spiritual growth.
  • SERVE:  by being a part of at least one area of service at Hope where you can give back to your church family and/or community.
